Pelion in Greece is a location of terrific natural charm. It is in fact a huge mountain dotted with typical villages and also exotic beaches. Makrinitsa, Portaria, Milies and Tsagarada are the most conventional villages of Pelion, with grey stone roofing systems, stylish residences and paved courses. On the eastern side of the peninsula, there are wonderful beaches with unique blue water. Mylopotamos, Fakistra and Agios Ioannis are prominent beaches for summertime vacations in Pelion. As a result of the diverse landscape, Pelion is a favorite location for all periods of the year. The largest close town is Volos, with a hectic port and a little airport that receives just charter flights.
