De que forma o Direito Romano, em sua fase inicial se manifesta atualmente dentro do Processo Civil Brasileiro, no sentido de se alcançar plenamente a justiça pretendida pelo cidadão?
Pretende-se com este trabalho uma revisão histórica do Direito Processual Romano e uma nova análise da literatura dos Institutos Processuais romanos, a Lei das XII Tábuas e dos princípios processuais civis romanos, passando pelas alterações ocorridas ao longo do Império Romano e de que forma estes princípios e normas processuais romanas foram incorporadas na Lei Processual Civil Brasileira.

How the Roman Law, in its initial phase manifests itself today in the Brazilian Civil Procedure, in order to fully achieve the justice sought by the citizen?
The aim of this work was a historical review of Procedural Law Romano and a review of the literature Procedural Institutes of Roman Law of the XII Tables and principles of Roman civil procedure, going through changes during the Roman Empire and how these Roman principles and procedural rules have been incorporated in Brazilian Civil procedure Law.
