A INFLUÊNCIA DO MODELO HIGIENISTA FRANCÊS NO PLANEJAMENTO URBANO DE BELO HORIZONTE NO FINAL DO SÉCULO XIX E INÍCIO DO SÉCULO XX

Resumo

Este trabalho pretende compreender os problemas gerados pelo Planejamento Urbano baseado no modelo francês higienista quando da construção da capital mineira Belo Horizonte para atender as demandas da sua população. Estabelecendo um paralelo entre o levantamento bibliográfico de planejamento urbano e os mapas do antigo Arraial Del Rei e da Belo Horizonte da década de 1940, demonstrando a exclusão da população à infraestrutura da nova capital.

ABSTRACT

This work intends to understand the problems generated by the Urban Planning based on the hygienist French model during the construction the capital Belo Horizonte to meet the demands of its population. Drawing parallels between the literature of urban planning and the maps the ancient Arraial Del Rei and Belo Horizonte in the 1940s, demonstrating the exclusion of the population the new the capital infrastructure.
