The animals of the world (COSAC Naify, 2006), book of poems of the French Jacques Roubaud, was translated into Portuguese by Paula Glenadel and Marcus Siscar. In addition to being considered an important poet in his language, Roubaud is also a mathematician and was part, in the 60s, the experimental group OuLiPo - Ouvroir de la Littérature Potentiel, something like Potential Literature Workshop, which belonged mathematicians and writers like Raymond Queneau, author of Zazie in the metro (COSAC Naify, 2009), translated by Paulo Werneck. Roubaud had another book of poems translated in Brazil, something black (Perspective, 2005), translated by Agnes Oseki-DEPRE.
